EROTIC MUSES: My Favorite Subject
Just dropping in for a moment on my way to explain what Mernacian characters I lust after-uhh, want to meet, that is-and thought I'd post the thoughts I just had in answer to the question
"Can a story have too much sex?"
Well, here's the intelligent, articulate, concise response of Incubus Frost:
Yes! If the entire book is just one sex encounter after another with no plot, no character development, just her * and his * over and over again! Come on, anatomy is pretty much the same everywhere. Make me care about the characters, make me intrigued by the plot, and then you can throw in all the activity you want. But if it's nothing but sex all the way with no backdrop, don't call it erotica but porn. Porn has its place but don't misname it erotica and make me think I'm reading a story!
